Lesson Policies

PAYMENT POLICY:

All payments are due PRIOR to the scheduled lesson start time. Teachers will not start the lesson until payment is made. Monthly and weekly payments are accepted.

Option 1 (Monthly Billing):

  • 1/2 hour lesson once per week - $95 per month ($90 with auto Pay)
  • 1/2 Hour lesson twice per week - $190 per Month ($180 with Auto Pay)
  • 1 Hour lesson once per week - $190 per Month ($180 with Auto Pay)

Option 2 (Pay as you Go):

  • 1/2 Hour Lesson - $35 Per Lesson (Due 1 week before lesson, NO Makeups)

Unless you notify us, all lessons are automatically scheduled for the following week. Same day/time.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Day of-cancellations/reschedules must be made before business hours (before 12:00 PM) on the day before the lesson.

If you wish to cancel, the lesson can be made up or rescheduled during an available time within the same month at no additional cost to you. We no longer charge a $15 Cancellation Fee for lessons canceled/rescheduled before business hours. (Please note: Due to continuously growing attendance, not all time slots will be available, therefore all rescheduled lessons will remain on a first come, first served basis). Makeup Credits are offered as a courtesy and hold no dollar value.

If you cancel after 12:00 PM the day before your lesson, or simply don’t show up to your scheduled lesson (no call - no show), the lesson payment will be forfeited. Day-of cancellations cannot be rescheduled or otherwise credited.

Forfeited payments and Cancellation Fees will be deducted from the monthly payment. If you don’t pay monthly, your card will be billed. If no card is on file, payment will be accepted at the next lesson.

If there are 2 no call - no shows in a row, you will be removed from the schedule. If you wish to return to the Total Music Source student roster, you will have to re-apply. This is only for no shows. If you notify us of the cancellation, it will not count against you.

If your regular instructor is out for any reason, Total Music Source will provide a substitute instructor if possible. If no substitute is available we will contact you and attempt to schedule your lesson at a different time. If this doesn't work out we will issue a makeup credit to your account.

TERMINATION POLICY

You may cancel at any time and we will stop all scheduling and billing effective at the end of your current monthly billing cycle. There are no refunds for any unused days left in the current billing cycle and any makeup credits on file in your account will be forfeited upon permanent cancellation.

If you wish to terminate enrollment, you must notify us, otherwise we will continue to schedule your lessons (see above).

MAJOR HOLIDAYS

Lessons are not offered on the following Holidays:

Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day

No Makeup credits will be issued for these days as the monthly enrollment fee is based on 48 weeks and takes into consideration these major holidays.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:

You agree to give Total Music Source and it’s associates permission to take photos/videos for websites, social media and other use.

You understand that all lesson rooms are monitored under surveillance cameras 24/7.

You agree that Total Music Source is in no way responsible for personal belongings.

You release from legal liability Total Music Source and it’s associates from any and all injury, harm or death.

Upon registering for lessons, students and/or parents are notified of our Payment, Cancelation, and Termination Policies. Please note that our teachers are paid for all scheduled lessons, including cancelations. Total Music Source has been very lenient in the past but will no longer be able to incur these costs. For example, Total Music Source pays the teacher twice when a student misses a lesson. Once for the missed lesson, and once for the rescheduled lesson. Our teachers do their best to be available on any day at any time, but they are only at Total Music Source when they have a lesson scheduled. So if a student cancels on the day of their lesson, the teacher is still here waiting, and by that point, it’s too late to fill the time slot with another student. Day-of cancelations are happening more and more and the teacher payments are coming out of the Management’s pocket. As a business, we cannot continue this way. We understand that life sometimes gets in the way (illness, etc).

ALWAYS call Total Music Source at (239) 458-2451 to cancel or reschedule. *Leave a clear voicemail message (including name, date, time, contact info) if nobody answers.

DO NOT email us for cancellations.

DO NOT contact us through social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) for cancellations.

DO NOT contact your teacher for scheduling. All scheduling is done through Management.
